Linux kernel 'sctp_getsockopt_local_addrs_old() ' function Local Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
Linux kernel is prone to a local buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied data. An attacker can exploit this issue to crash the affected kernel, denying service to legitimate users. Given the nature of the issue, arbitrary code execution may also be possible, but this has not been confirmed. |
